Why customers buy this item:
For most stokers a suspension seatpost is a "must have" item. Even the BEST captain sometimes misses calling out bumps so a suspension seatpost for the stoker helps cushion the blow to the bum. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on stoker suspension seatposts. In TEN years of doing business at Tandem Cycle Works, not ONE has been returned!
This is not just ANY bike computer! The big advantage of the Flight Deck is the gear indicator feature. This helps to keep "tandem harmony" on your bike as the captain no longer needs to ask the stoker, "What gear are we in"? No other bike computer has this feature, and in addition, the Flight Deck provides speed, time, virtual cadence, max speed, average speed, lap counter, PLUS it's wireless.

Almost every Co-Motion sold at Tandem Cycle Works is equipped with a Wound Up carbon fork, either the Cantilever style or the newer Duo Disk for front disk brakes. The most important feature of the Wound Up fork is the added captain comfort. Carbon dampens the feel of the road where the captain needs it the most, in the upper body, arms and shoulders. Additionally the Wound Up cantilever fork saves 12 ounces in weight over Co-Motion's traditional steel fork. Choose the Wound Up Duo Disk and you save MORE weight and get BETTER braking. The Wound Up fork is truly an option to consider when purchasing a Co-Motion tandem.

*Requires Front and Rear Avid Disk Brake Option.

If you're looking for more stopping power for your tandem, the Avid Mechanical disks are for you. Since they are mechanical you'll have none of the complications that you may have heard about with disks that are hydraulic. This brake system does the job with minimal maintenance! Having ridden most of Colorado's mountain passes with the Avid disks, we can attest to the great value value and added braking ability.
The Sherpa Rack from Old Man Mountain is a lightweight rack specifically designed for rear disk brakes. Equipped with its own extra long skewer this rack is specific for rear disk brakes, so if you're looking for a trunk rack for your new disk-brake tandem, this is it.
