White Rock Rack $55 |
![]() |
The White Rock Rack from Old Man Mountain is an extremely lightweight rack specifically designed for attachment to the frame at the cantilever bosses. This makes for a very stable rack and avoids the need to compensate for the travel agent camming unit on the rear rim brake of most road tandems. Originally Tandem Cycle Works purchased these racks as a solution for softride tandems, which have non-conventional rear triangles, but we are so pleased with the quality of Old Man Mountain racks, this has become the only rack line that we carry. |

Cateye Mity 8 Computer $30 |
![]() |
The Cateye Mity 8 bike computer is a quality wired cyclometer that includes the following functions: speed, average speed, maximum speed, time, distance, and automatic on/off features. Most of us want to know how far we've traveled on our tandems, so here's a great little computer at a great price. |

Topeak Road Morph Frame Pump $35 |
![]() |
We think this is the best frame pump on the planet! You ARE going to get flats and the Road Morph pump can help get you riding again in a jiffy. The pump has a unique design that allows it to function similar to a floor pump. This allows you to get real leverage as you inflate the tube. The Road Morph comes equipped with a gauge, a bracket for attachment to your bike, and is compatible with both Schraeder and Presta valves. |

Esge Double-Legged Kickstand $45 |
![]() |
The Esge Double-Legged Kickstand is the only kickstand that we have found that holds up a tandem. This is due to its unusual two-legged design, providing a stable base for a long tandem bike. The design lifts the rear wheel of the bike off the ground when the kickstand is lowered, giving you an added advantage when you get a rear flat! |

Arai Drum Brake $155 |
![]() |
When riding in steep terrain like the Colorado Rockies, or when heavily loaded with gear, many of our customers are concerned with adequate braking on their tandems (as they should be!). The Arai drum brake provides maximum braking on your bike by acting as a third brake. Until mechanical disk brakes became available in the past 3 years, 95% of our tandems were sold with this add-on drag brake. The Arai drum is a workhorse: it lasts forever and is amazingly durable. In ten years of owning our shop we have seen only 1 customer ever need replacement pads for the Arai (and remember, we're in Colorado!). By the way, your tandem can be built for the STOKER to control this brake! |

Stoker Crank Shorteners $120 |
![]() |
When your little one is a "tweener," too big for a kid kit but can't quite reach the pedals, crank arm shorteners are your best bet. Crank arm shorteners attach to the cranks on your tandem in about 5 minutes and they are half the price of the child stoker kit. We often install these on tandems for kids who around 8-12 years of age, but of course, it depends upon the size of the bike and the height of the child. At Tandem Cycle Works we can assist you in determining whether you need crank shorteners or the child stoker kit on your bike. |
Tandem Cycle Works stocks many other options and accessories for your tandem! Please visit our Accessories section for more great tandem-specific items or call Tandem Cycle Works for questions or to order, 303-715-9690.
