When Lynn and I founded Tandem Cycle Works more than fifteen years ago, we had one goal in mind — to create a retail environment where tandems were the focus, rather than an afterthought. As the sport has grown, so has our business. We are now the leading tandem retailer in the United States and Tandem Cycle Works is the number one dealer in the world for Co-Motion and Calfee tandems. To put it simply, we sell more tandem bicycles than any other bike shop, anywhere.

How do we do we do it? With personalized, knowledgeable service and support. A logical outcome of specialization is expertise. And, since we focus on tandems exclusively, we have a level of knowledge that takes the guesswork out of a tandem bike purchase. We don’t just SELL tandems, either. We are an active member of the tandem community. We typically log more than 5000 miles a year together. We lead tours and participate in tandem rides and rallies at home and throughout the United States. We have ridden several stages of the Tour De France on our tandem and in 2012 we are heading to Italy with twelve other tandem teams for some very special riding.
